    I know CPU-Z will help you to find brand. HP site said DV/V6000T/Z all equipt 667 memory. I wander if that is true or HP's typo AGAIN. Also, CPU-Z will tell you what is the actual clock that RAM at.

    The review unit I had used PC5300. Not sure on the brand.

    If you are using CPU-Z, the SPD tab tells you the manufactor.

    My 6000z says Hyundai pc2-5300. My hard drive is toshiba.

    That might be Simpltech, a generic brand. What is the speed table in CPU-Z shows? 600? or 667? I am asking this simply because there was a review said X2 might not run full speed at 667.
