I'm interested too. I still haven't seen anything with as good of a power/dollar ratio as this laptop. I love the dedicated graphics card. Mine comes tomorrow.

mine came today. replacement for a dv2000 ive had for about 3 years now.
no real issues that i have come across so far. case feels a bit cheap, but i wasnt expecting much for the price. also not to fond of the arrow keys. they are like 1/2 the size of a normal key.

right now im making the recovery disks and going to do a clean install of windows 7 to get rid of the bloatware.

black friday sale price + 10% bing cashback....i dont think you can beat that

Got it several days ago. Popped in a T9800 for some extra speed. Machine is fast for a stock machine due to the ATI 4650 and stock 7200rpm drive. BUT THE SCREEN SUCKS! Poor color fidelity (even after spyder calibration, poor contrast, and poor brightness. This is coming from a guy who's also used to dell's abysmal screens on their lower tier models. Seriously, for a LED screen it's quite dim.

The build quality is ok though, very solid keyboard (Dell keyboards feel like Jello in comparison)

Overall, great gaming laptop for the money, but the screen seriously ruins it for me.

BTW, is there a higher quality/rez screen from HP's lineup that I can swap in? I'm quite comfortable ripping it apart as I was able to swap the cpu in about 30 minutes.

I just got mine yesterday, booted it up and all seemed ok until I tried to turn on the wifi... for some reason it wasn't turning on so I called tech support and they had me take out the battery and hold down the power key for 30 seconds to get rid of static apparently... I booted it back up and everything has been perfectly fine so far.

As for the other comments I just checked on the arrow keys and yea, they are small... hopefully that won't bum me out too much. And the screen did look dim but I just rn the brightness up and now it looks a ton better. Of course I didn't have my AC plugged in so that may have been it... The screen has a good deal of glare... I'm sitting here comparing my Sony Vaio sz680... but the sony is pretty sweet so maybe it's not entirely fair. I also paid 2100 for the sony and only 585 for the HP :D
