    Tools for checking GPU Temperature...

Just as topic, I've tried Speedfan (which only displayed CPU temperature), RIVATuner (which din have the option at all), ATITool (same as RIVATuner)... Anyone has a solution that works?

I'm worried about the recent reports and was considering whether to buy a cooler for it. But I would like to pry into the temperature b4 I decide. Does this HP has a temperature detector for the gpu dye?

Oh yea.. it's the 8400M Gs

If you haven't flashed in the latest BIOS yet, do it. It'll run the fan 24x7 which will greatly reduce the chance of GPU failure. HP strongly recommends this.

Ditto netkiller's advice. HWMonitor is my favorite monitoring app.
