I was playing Company of Heroes on my dv9543cl for about an hour, and I used an external mouse, so I turned off my touchpad. However, when I finished gaming and reenabled the touchpad, neither the pad nor the buttons worked for about a minute. I tried holding onto the on/off button of the touchpad for a bit, and, either by pure coincidence or by something triggering, the touchpad worked again.

Anyone know the reason as to the problem and a solution?

    Thanks.

That some times happens, maybe it clicked itself off again, try to just keep the touchpad on the whole time and see what happens

I was turning it on and off over and over a few times, before I finally tried holding the touchpad power button.
