I have had my zx5000 for about 2 weeks now and I've been noticing an increase with delays w/ my touchpad (mouse). Last night I was online and my cursor would either move the opposite way i was moving my finger along the touch pad or it was moving extremely slow. Is this a known issue? I'm confused on what can cause this problem. I have a similar problem with my desktop but I don't have any of the same programs installed on my laptop except for my printer. Maybe my printer software is causing this?

    ZX5000 - P4 2.8GHz - XP Home -15.4" WXGA (1280x800)- 64MB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) 9200 - 512MB DDR SDRAM (2x256MB)- 60 GB 4200 RPM Hard Drive - DVD/CD-RW Combo - 802.11b/g WLAN - 12 Cell Lithium Ion Battery - $1,096

    SaID,
You may think this is a silly response, but I have found that if the elbow of my touchpad operating hand is touching the arm of a chair or my leg or the floor, my touchpad behaves as you describe. I think the touchpad senses static not pressure. So do not ground the static-bearing hand and see if performance changes.
