I'm using outlook express 6.00.2900.2180 with IE 7.0.5730.11 on an hp 9010us laptop. The touchpad scroll feature does not work when reading email
or newsgroup postings that are longer than one screen in Outlook Express.
However, it works just fine when I'm reading web pages or documents.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Paul

yeah, the touchpad scroll feature is hit or miss depending on the software, and there's really nothing you can do about it

According the information provided.. you said that the scroll works fine with web pages and documents and it does not works only with outlook ..... then this issue could be with the outlook so you can uninstall the microsoft office.. and reinstall it ...

you can also uninstall the mouse drivers thats "Synaptics Touchpad " and reinstall it from the hp.com web site...
