Anyone have any ideas for me. I installed Tridef and activated it ok on my E173D. I scanned and it found WoW ok. I try to launch it, and an error pops up.

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the appliation.

    Thanks for any help!

Wyldfyst, I wish I could tell you the answer, but I believe I read the solution here on one of the Envy 17 3D threads... I'd say skim those threads or wait for that person to post here. Good luck, but it does seem there is a fix...good luck, and If I find an answer I'll post here.

In case this might help someone else, somewhere down the road...

My problem was caused by copying my WOW folder from another laptop, which just happened to have a Soundblaster audio card. Because I was running Windows 7, I had used Alchemy. Alchemy adds a couple of DLL files to the root of the WOW folder, dsound.dll and dsound.cfg. I renamed those two files and viola - WoW in 3D is working!

I am getting 30+ FPS with high settings, but I had to turn down the water to fair to get it to display. Its pretty cool!

    Good luck everyone!
