    What kind of detrimental effects can I expect from this setup and the rig in my sig? Looking to use it for cad programming and gaming i.e. F.E.A.R. and HL2, both of which work flawlessly with my current setup.

    Well, the 7600 isn't going to be able to handle gaming at 3x1680x1050 resolution that's for sure. I don't think any card really can unless you turn the playing resolution way down.

    Check out DriverHeaven's review of this thing to see how it works...they point out that the max resolution possible is 3840x1024.
