Anyone have an issue playing the Tron:Legacy 3D Bluray on an Envy 17 3D? Every single scene change the graphics get garbled and it skips a frame or two, it is unwatchable like this. I am incredibly upset...

    Looking for fixes/suggestions...

    Thanks all!

Just wondering if you have tried to return the 3d bluray yet? I am going to try that tomorrow.

Whats odd is, the pirates trailer plays flawless, but the cars 2 trailer is messed up like the tron legacy movie is.

I have yet to find any information about this problem yet. If I do, I will post it.

I don't actually have my Envy yet... But I googled, and some people on the nVidia forum said updating to the latest version of Cyberlink DVD fixed some issue they were having with the playback.

:( It is better, but still has a pause with every scene change. No more graphical corruption though. It still is quite annoying.

EDIT: Ok - I went to the website and downloaded the 2701 update and it is 99.9% better. Every once in a while, very rarely, I notice a very small graphic glitch, but no more pauses. I am much happier and the movie is watchable now. :) HP has to get off its and fix the built in player software though.
Thanks for all the help guys!

I have this same problem with Tron and Tangled. They are both brand new disney bluray 3d movies. I am not sure what the deal is. I can't find anything that will fix it.

I have the same issue with my Envy 17 3D laptop... what is this 2701update you speak of? I would like to find a resolution, as I have tried updating the drivers from ATI and still no fix.

Any help would be appreciated the HP Tech Care Chat... was no help at all.

Ok... newbie here, but stupid question. You can use an NVidia driver with an ATI graphics card in the Envy 17 3D?
