Hello,
Having some problems trying to undervolt my laptop. Followed Undervolting guide on these forums, but it seems like every time I try and run the stress test on new profile, test runs for about a minute then shuts down without warning; core temperature spikes just before this happens, which I'm guessing means it shuts down because it gets too hot. Running a TL-66; I think that the problem may be it's not detecting my voltages properly for my multipliers. I get 1.175V for every setting, but whenever I try and set these voltages down the ORTHOS program fails to run the test. Ideas? Does it matter that I'm running 64-bit Vista (I patched the driver like it told me to)? Thanks

did orthos say hardware failure? if thats the case then your voltage is too low, start lowering it by .1v on highest multiplier, then go down gradually.
if you are getting incorrect voltage in rmc, try to use reset to default in profile screen, it works sometimes.
btw what cpu are you running? -
After enabling RMclock on standard voltages, without even lowering them, computer starts test for about a minute then shuts down from heat. Resetting to default in profile screen does not change anything. Computer runs ORTHOS test just fine when RMclock is not enabled. I am running AMD Turion X2 TL-66.

did you use hwmonitor to monitor the cpu temp? do you see a difference between enabling rmc and disabling rmc? also make sure you selected cpu type as mobile.

To HT-- Enabling RMC at any time causes computer to crash. There is no "mobile" option to select for me...
To Cyber-- I'll calibrate right now. Thx!
**EDIT** Could my problem be that I'm not choosing the proper multipliers? If so, where would I go to find out what multipliers I need to choose? -
alright, try this, go to the folder you installed rmc, and click rmclock_wipeout and restart, this will restore all settings back to default. then try to reconfig rmc again and follow the guide precisely, see if this works.

I have already done this and I am having the same problem.
