I have a Compaq Presario v2000 with an ATI Radeon Xpress 200m.
I just reinstalled Windows XP and found most of the drivers on the net, but I can't seem to get the correct display drivers.
In the Device Manager the Video Controller (VGA Compatible) is not installed.
I tried letting it automatically find drivers but it doesn't find any.
I've tried downloading multiple drivers for ATI radeon, but none seem to work.
Maybe I need a chipset driver?
I'm not really sure why I'm having so much trouble getting it work, so any help or hints would be great, thanks.![]()

hey - try this use these
Mobility Modder - ATI Version, Install the Latest Drivers on your ATI laptop
and the reason none of the latest ati drive will not with your card because they drop support or compaq has agreement with amd only compaq will release drivers for there system. if amd support xpress 200m would be an older drivers. but try use modtool I saw your card listed and follow instruction should get working... I would say omega drivers but they are old
ATI Omega Drivers
and between have you try install compaq drivers? they may be old as hell but it will get your video card working right.
