Yeah, those prices are pretty accurate. Although large OEM's could possibly buy them at a lower price. The die size on the X2's are also physiacally smaller which might have contributed to the low price. Also Intel should be announcing price cuts on their Core Duo's next week which would put them in the same range as the X2's. So maybe AMD preemptively priced the Turion X2's lower.

I think that is really a crazy price. Maybe AMD just want to get rid of the single core. With the same price adn TDP, who want to buy a new Turion ML-40?

To clarify, the site lists OEM pricing.
Only the "AMD Athlon™ 64 Processor" lists PIB. So you would have to buy in quantities of 1000 to get the listed Turion X2 pricing.

But that is the ballpark price for the cpu. Prices will be either side of the OEM price. For exsmple, If you check the prices for the Turion MT 34, AMD lists the OEM price as $159, but Newegg is selling the PIB for $186. But they also sell the FX60 for $1,011 while AMD lists it OEM as $1,031.
AMD has stated that the X2's would be available in PIB. So, the price for the consumer can be expected to be either side of the OEM price.
