I have a DV9700 HP Notebook, and I hate this external wireless button. I hit this button numerous times a day, and it is completely frustrating. Does anyone know how to disable this button so that the wireless and Bluetooth capabilities will stay on no matter which position the button is in?

yes it can be annoying as its so easy move it but you cant simply disable it just like that.

Why dont you jam something small on the switch's other end? This way it wont slide to the off position

Maybe some rubber cement. It'll hold but you can peel it off if you need to. Or some tape or a sticker.
