Just wondering if there was a way to turn off the touch-strip at the top of the 8510 - or, better yet, an individual "button". The problem is, when I move my laptop around, I sometimes brush one of the touch-sensitive buttons.

At times I've been wondering why my wireless wasn't working and, after trying various things, finally realised I'd accidentally hit the little blue antenna button on the touch-strip... so annoying! :)

If I can turn the entire thing off, that would be great.. is there a service or something that monitors it which I can turn off?

    Thanks!

Besides the QuickPlay buttons, everything else (volume, playback controls and wireless switch) is hardwired. The only way to turn it off is to take it out, physically unplug its cable from the mobo, and put it back in. You will lose all the touch controls and their lights by doing that.

Thanks for that. I'll just have to try and remember to check the light before checking everything else! :)
