Hey all, been a while since I been on the forums, what happened to the search?! I have been having to use the Google search at the top of the page, and I searched for the following questions with no answers.

Just did an F.3F upgrade on my dv9201ca w/ nVidia 6150 graphics. The fan went from being on almost all the time on the last upgrade (F.3D?), to on very mildly, if at all, on the F.3F upgrade. Is this normal?

Other Q: Has anyone done the HP limited warranty service enhancement for the dv9000 lately? I am holding off till the last minute in hopes of getting an upgrade from my 6150. I'm hoping they will install a new mobo with the 7150 on it because of all the problems the 6150 one has had.

Anyone done this upgrade lately and actually received an UPGRADE from it? I recall reading about a couple of people that had...

Interesting, I'll keep that in mind. It's hard to believe that HP could have dropped the ball on this one though and not realized it was a problem!
