Hey guys.. just got my DM4... a detailed sort of review of sorts is coming soon... but right now i'm running into these two issues:

    1. CCC doesn't start till about 5 minutes after I start my laptop, I know this because I have the gamma set to a lower level and I know when it kicks in. Is there anyway to have CCC run right at startup or another alternative to reduce the gamma?

    2. Seems like when I close the lid for a long time....when I open it back up it has like issues, more often than not I have to restart my laptop. Anyone know why and/or a solution for this?

Any help would be really appreciated!

Could you post your system's specs?
The issue is most likely video driver related.
You need to have the latest video and BIOS updates from HP.

Doing a clean install would probably fix that

    Thanks for the replies!
Actually, it was on a clean install. I'm going to do it again.

I've tried basically every driver under the sun, and there's basically only one bios for the DM4 anyway...

    DM4-430m,5450,4gb,320gb... :)

Yea doing another clean install might clear that up. I remember with my first clean install on my Dm3t my device manager was empty. After reinstalling windows again everything worked swimmingly.
