do you guys know if theres ever going to be a tx1000 with a intel processor?

btw whoever has one, how do you like it? I'm a student and my dv6000 just broke, lcd went out ughh. I kinda liked it cause its portable but i still like to play some games like warcraft and half life 2. I dont need to play games at the highest resolution but will this be able to handle it?

It's not a gaming machine by any stretch of imagination. However, it is a good tablet if you're in the market for one.

Yes, it should be fine for occasional older games but dont expect the best experience with any integrated graphics solution. As for as the Intel versions is concerned I havent heard anything about these. HP does sell a Intel based tablet/notebook with their business line - the 2710p which is much better tablet/notebook than the tx1000 but it costs lot more than the tx1000.

There is absolutely no plans for a tx1000 with an intel processor. I was told this an HP manager. Take it as you wish. I do see however that even though they revised the specs of tx1000z they still did not change the processor. If you want intel processor take a look at the business line tablets.
