    Hi!

My TX2525NR (tx2500 series) accidentally felt from my bed, and since then it stopped working (frozen when it hit the floor then I restarted, nothing).

When I turn it on, I get black screen with caps/numlock blinking. I've checked HP's site and they have some blinking codes based in the number of times they flash. But the codes go from 1 time to 8 times, mine flashes in loop, I've seen them blinking for more then five minutes and turned it off :)

I can't get to BIOS either (by pressing F10 as advised by HP). I've already taken of the battery, held the power button for about 30 seconds and put the power cord on, but got the same result.

    Any clues?
Thanks in advance, and hope you all understand my english :)

Try to remove the hard drive, then the memory one stick at a time, if niether one of those work, you may possibly have board damage.

Try re-seating the CPU also, check for any bad connections.
