    Tx2513cl, screen cracked. Advice needed plz

    I bought this used for $350, hope it turns out to be a good deal. The thin plastic film over the screen(active digitizer ?) is not damaged and the pen works good.

    The glass screen under it is cracked, and some of the small glass fragments can be fellt under the plastic film. Finger touch doesn't work.

    If I buy the lcd replacement, will finger touch work again? I have the feeling that I'm missing something here.
