    Type of HD in DV5000T

    Does anyone know what type of HD the dv5000T has?

    Is it SATA/PATA/ATA?

    Any other info would be useful also.

    I think it is SATA...most hard drives on these updated notebooks are.

    It should be SATA on the dv5000t, ide on the dv5000z.

    PS: I think you can go into the hardware manager, and get the id of the drive, then "google" for info....

    Of course you could "pull" the drive out and get the info off the drive itself...
