Your laptop has switchable graphics. When you tried to reinstall your drivers, you installed just the graphics driver for the AMD gpu. These laptops HAVE to have the Intel GPU drivers as well.

So when you install drivers, either find the drivers for your laptop (HP website, not AMD) or use the Leshcat drivers posted a few posts ahead of this one. Both of those are switchable graphics (that is, they have the drivers for the AMD gpu and the Intel gpu).

If you want to update your drivers, download the drivers xAcid9 posted above. Since you already have driver sweeper, just do this:
    1. run the Leshcat executable you just downloaded. when it asks what drivers you want, just choose the newest drivers for both drivers if applicable. tell it to save it to the desktop for convenience.

    2. while in Windows, go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > AMD install manager. tell it to uninstall it and choose "express uninstall all AMD software" and follow the prompts to uninstall all your old stuff

    3. restart the laptop, while its booting spam f8 and choose to boot into safe mode. run driver sweeper and uninstall all AMD software.

    4. restart laptop again (resolution will be really low because there will beno drivers and this is a good thing) and run the Leshcat file thats sitting on your desktop to install the new drivers

    5. restart a last time and you're done

    There's two options:
1st option Install the leschat drivers as some mentioned above.

2nd option is to download from Guru3D. But before installing the one from Guru3D you have to install the HP Drivers and then install the Guru3D drivers on top of the HP Drivers.
First Install the HP Drivers with the CCC.
2nd Install Guru3D Driver Only not the CCC.

That should let you keep the CCC with the switchable graphics as if you install the Guru3D alone it won't have the Intel and the CCC for swithcable graphics.

But before doing this run driver sweeper.

As said above, you can use leshcat's if needed.

There is one problem though, leshcat's 12.2 Versions seem to be more stable then 12.3, mainly because the idle temps are about 7C higher and I'm maxing out my laptop's temperatures (200F CPU and ~195F GPU) with 12.3.

^ Catalyst 12.3 suffers from sticky clock and HD6770M/HD7690M included, that's why idle temperature is higher.
