I have a DV7-6143cl and I read the front left usb are super speed (3.0). I noticed when I copied some avi from my 3.0 ext hdd to my dl folder it started at around 120mb and over the duration of the transfer slowed down to around 40mb. Is that normal for 3.0?

Also my wife has a laptop that allows you to plug a phone into the 3.0 hub and it will charge while the computer is asleep. There was a program you had to initiate on the samsung but it came with the computer. Anything like that with the new dv7?

    thanks
