Has anybody experienced a USB power surge without any USB devices plugged in?

On top of the many other crazy ways my HP NX8220 has been acting up on me, I have now received the USB power surge message twice without even any USB devices attached. My computer will be going in for repair, but based on the amount of problems I've been having with it, they might as well replace the whole computer!

If it's within the 30 day purchase date, you can return the unit for a full exchange/refund. Are you using bluetooth devices with this unit? If so, I believe they are routed through the USB root hubs, so this might be one of the causes of this error message.

I am not using any Bluetooth devices, and I purchased the notebook back in June, so it is past the 30 day exchange period.
