    Unable to register my finger prints on nc8430

    Hii guys,

    The biometric sensor stopped working
    It was all going well for two months
    Suddenly it stopped working
    I tried reinstalling credential manager but still I am unable to register my finger prints

    Any suggestions

    First I was unable to sign in as the reader isn't accepting finger prints
    And then I tried to register new fingerprints by reinstalling
    It is not working either way
    Anyway I will follow your suggestion and see what happens

    Not working mate
    I applied the latest finger print drivers from HP
    and then installed credential manager
    But still I am unable to register my finger prints

    What version of ProtectTools/Credential manager are you using? (the latest is 2.00 D released Jun 8 2006)

    If you still have this problem with the latest one, then I'd say it's time to get HP support involved.
