This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Uninstalled Recovery Manager...HELP!!!!

    Got my Dv9543cl in the mail the other day and I immediately started "cleaning out" the system...getting rid of the crapware slowing down the system. I have an upgraded copy of Vista that I plan on installing, but in my uninstalling frenzy I managed to uninstall the HP Recovery Manager. Is there anyway to create a recovery disc without it or to reinstall it?

    try reinstalling HP advisor from the C:/SwSetup folder
