    Unit boots only using Quickplay button

    Ok guys Hi :)

    please what can I do if I can only boot the unit using Quickplay button?
    If it does not work with Power on button ( No led ON, No fans turn ON ...)

    Is your Power button broken or is it not booting up due to ome other hardware fault??If it is just the power button that is broken then you should be able to boot up with the Quickplay buttons. If the laptop is under waranty then i would recommend sending the laptop to HP to fix the power button.

    very similar thing happened to me. i was playing around with the QuickPlay partition, Windows Partition, etc. essentially, when you install QP from disk, it WILL change your boot loader. if for whatever reason, this process goes wrong, you will no longer be able to boot windows. in my case, after a few methods of trying to boot that never worked. i just reinstalled windows. if you were playing around with install quickplay v2.1-2.3, this definiately could happen.
