    Hello everyone,

First of all I want to thank you in advanced for your time and thanks for your help.

I decided to buy from HP Canada (online/ or by phone) the HP Pavilion dv7-1034ca (I’m located in Canada).

I know most companies have discounts or special websites for university students and I was just wondering if HP Canada has a student discount site.

For example HP USA has the Academic Purchase Program ( https://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/register_app.do?jumpid=re_r329_search/internal/hps_app).

I asked them directly…” Thank you for your interest in Hewlett-Packard.
Here in HP Presales we do not have information on pricing or discounts. HP Presales only has information on specifications of computers and printers. …”

My question is: The Academic Purchase Program is also for Canadians ?

Second question: What is your opinion about warranty for 2 or 3 years?

    Any advice guys?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Cheers,
    SG
