Hello!
I've had my notebook that I bought last year for fun. It's a HP Pavilion dv6000 and I love it. My only gripe is the battery and I'm looking for advice. It has a lithium ion battery and I've had to buy two batteries in one year. I don't use the notebook often, like once a month or every two months. After I buy the battery, it works fine, but when I don't use it for at least a month, I tried to charge it up, but HP Care Advisor says the battery malfunctioned and won't charge up. So, in that situation, I've had to use my laptop with the charger 100% of the time, which kind of defeats the term, portability. What's the best way that I can do to keep my battery from dying even though I don't use the notebook that often? Do I eject the battery if I don't use my notebook? Do I fully charge it or drain it? Any advice would be welcome!
Thanks!

Thanks Johnny T! It would be nice if this forum had a search function, unless I missed it somewhere?

Yeah unfortunately it is disabled at the moment for forum speed reasons. It should be back up in the near future.
Unusual Question... Maybe not?
