    in the US web site of HP is not posible to
    download the update of WinFlash AMD
    bios F.38 like SP36393 !

    Error and not download...help me ?

    There are a lot of files on the HP site that are messed up and won't download. There are just too many models for HP to keep track of things and the website just can't keep up (or HP is too lame to keep up). Go to the main generic model number for your computer and download the drivers from there (e.g. dv6000 CTO).

    Yep, they don't have that F.38 for download yet...Never experienced this on HP site before...

    Tech support was trying to get me to download this firmware and install it as a possible fix for the defective door button on the DVD drive (yeah, right!) and the download didn't work then. They had no way to email it to me either. Fine by me though, it was a bad button anyway and the replacement fixed it right away after they overnighted it to me.

    Check their site again. I needed the same bios update. F.38 was corrupted (0 bytes in size). Then recently the link stopped working. I just checked a few days ago and F.3A (newer than F.38) is available.
