Hi, I've upgraded my HP DV2000 BIOS to the latest version F39 from F.13 (or F.13A I do not remember)

But after upgrade, the fan is not detected by Windows. And, This causes CPU overheat. The temparature of CPU about 70* C and Nvidia GPU ~ 90*C

The old BIOS I replaced (F.13) is not available, only F.12, F.26 available from HP support site. I downgraded to F.12, F.26, but no luck.

    Has anyone can help me?

    Here is my DV2000:
    Core 2 duo T7200 2GHz
    Nvidia Geforce go 7200.
    Mainboard: 30B3

    Thanks

So, the fan does not work at all. It might just be that tha fan failed and the BIOS upgrade might have just been a coincidental.
