Have you guys upgraded any of the V2000z original drivers?
Please post you upgrades here, including the graphics card and the BIOS, and post your thoughts about the ones that were better and the ones that we should keep away from.
That's it, thanks, and hope this helps some people other than myself

I bought one about 9 months ago and had to update the BIOS, the newest BIOS added some extra features. other than that, the original wireless drivers had problems connecting after resuming-- which was fixed.

Yes, the wireless driver used to have problems but I fixed it after one of the updates.
The bluetooth driver might be tricky; at first I was able to use my K700i cell phone as a remote, now I seem to have lost this feature. Probably some of the many driver updates twisted the settings somehow.
Be careful with the latest AMD driver, the throtling may not work (a few people have complained about it)

Using F.24 with Catalyst 6.3 & the latest drivers. No problems whatsoever.

Try the Omega driver. It is based on the Catalyst 6.3 now.

I can't tell any difference. However, my system hangs once in awhile during boot. That, and when I press the power button to shut down, it'll just restart every now and then.

I Don't know why HP treats v2000z customer as neglectable.
The latest broadcom driver for the card is 5.00c, Mar 2006. If you use v2410us as model (same basically as the v2000z), you can find some new drivers/BIOS, all applicable and safe to be used on v2000z (yes, I do this).

They are just bad not only to V2000Z customer. They also removed a bunch of drivers from the web for DV4000. Now you have to search around to find the updated drivers.
