Is it possible to upgrade to the 860m gpu from Nvidia with this laptop? It already has the 850m, which is good enough for Medium at 48 fps settings in games like Battlefield 4. However, it can only run games like AC Unity at just 30 fps on high. The 860m is slightly better with an avg 40 fps on high I think. Anyway, it's inconsequential if I can't upgrade. I'm not very accustomed to PC hardware so would the requirements just be the power supply and motherboard? Please inform me of all the requirements needed to possibly upgrade, or if it is entirely impossible to upgrade to 860m.

Since the GPU is soldered to the motherboard... you could do it if and only if HP offered that particular GPU as an option for your model. If so, then you would only need to obtain the motherboard with that GPU. Check the service manual for your model for the motherboard part numbers and descriptions.
