    Hi all,

I'm a long time reader but a first time poster. Hopefully you guys can help me out. I recently upgraded my DV5T to Windows 7 Professional (x64) and my bluetooth will no longer find devices, it just endlessly searches for a device. The device in question is a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000.

I'm not really sure what to do at this point. The driver is updated. Bluetooth is on in services.msc. The mouse is in connect mode. Yet still can't be found.

    Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Uninstall the bluetooth and let Windows install its own drivers. I have found the default Windows drivers work fine for the bluetooth, no need for the HP/Broadcom ones.

Thanks for the reply. I had already tried this, but tried it again just now. Still not finding my mouse. Any other suggestions?

At this point I'm sure its the bluetooth and not the mouse, as the dv5 can't find my iphone and my iphone can't find my laptop.
