Can I have HP upgrade my CPU? I really like the up coming 65nm Turion X2 but can't wait till it comes out, so I now am enjoying the 90nm Turion X2 first.
I don't much care about warranty.

HP won't. However, you can download the service guide if you're feeling adventurous enough to try it yourself. You'll need to wait for HP to add BIOS support for the chips, assuming it's not there already (probably not).

Rumor is we'll see them next month:

I'd expect notebook chips to be first. Now, whether HP will be in any great hurry to start using them or when end-users will be able to buy individual chips I can't say. There's also the small matter of Dell ramping up their upcoming AMD notebook line. But if you don't mind waiting a bit for the supply situation to settle down you'll be OK.
