I've just chatted with costumer support. And they said I can't upgrade cpu becuase it's integrated in the mother board. So, If I wanna do that, I need to buy motherboard & CPU.

Is it true? Coz, I've never open up my laptop, I don't know how does it look inside.

    thanks in advance

Sounds like a load of bull.... The CPU is rarely soldered onto the mobo, except for ULV and LV procs. You just need to find a new CPU supported by the motherboard.. Basically, one that fits into the socket.

yeah that sounds like a load to me. Let me ask you this how hard would be to get to the cpu. Thats how you can tell if you can remove it or not.

Download the service guide from hp.com. It documents how to replace the CPU.
