Hi everyone, i'm from indonesia and have little question.

I wanna ask, can i upgrading my Compaq C733 processor which is Celeron M 540 to C2D T7300....?
i have read a review about C715 series with core duo in it. it said that the processor cannot be upgrade because it was soldered into the motherboard, is it true?

if it's true, how so unlucky i am...

    thank you for any comment.

Well, the first thing would be to physically check if the cpu on your system is soldered or socketed. If it is socketed, then you can think about the next step with regards to upgradability but if it is soldered then no upgrades would be possible except if you are willing to spend on a whole new motherboard.
