If so which one should I purchase leaning towards Seagate. I ordered one 100GB 7200RPM as it was $50 extra and am hoping to add another drive at some point in the future.
I noticed here that the hard drive bays are very easily accessible. Click on Demo.

If your laptop came with only one hdd, then you will have to order an HDD bracket from HP for the second hard drive.
I would take the Hitachi. I think I read somewhere it was faster. -

if your looking for more memory try this one

the speed is slower but i don't know if that matters to you. any sata drive will work. all you need to get is the bracket from hp -
Now theres an interesting proposition I just automatically assumed 7200rpm but if I keep all my programs on the 7200 I could get a 5400 for data and multimedia (pictures and whatnot). Does that sound like the best way to go about it? Thanks for the help!
