    will an upgrade smoothen out things?

    what CPus are compatible with Intel GMA 965 board??

    Dont bother upgrading that laptop because its obsolete. Any upgrade on a 9 year old laptop is a waste money because even today's low end laptops will beat it greatly in performance. You're better off buying a new laptop
