    Hey

I have a quick question that I'm sure that you guys can answer :)

I am going to upgrade my dear HP elitebook 2530P with an additional harddrive insted of my optical drive, So I where browsing the Maintenance and Service Guide ( https://computinghardware.web.cern.ch/ComputingHardware/doc/HP/HP-2530p/Maintenance-c01599628.pdf) .
    On page 68 - It says :
    -----
Secondary hard drive cage assembly, includes additional USB port (required for installation
    of secondary hard drive
    492574-001
    -----
Secondary hard drive connector board (required for installation of secondary hard drive) 495027-001
    -----
Secondary hard drive system connector board (required for installation of secondary hard
    drive)
    495028-001
    -----
I am going to install a normal 2,5" disk, so which of them do I need ?
And is everything I need included?

    Best regards
    - Kristoffer

The correct part number is 492574-001 according to the owners lounge (nando4). But I have the same doubt as you and I have not order for the same reason. Someone here with dual storage drive configuration or with a 2.5" drive machine that confirms this part number? IDK why there are so many part numbers for the same apparent reason and it seems confusin. I don't want to pay extra because here in México the price for the part its quite considerable and the shipping time is at least one month. :(

Ebay has a few US$67+shipping 2530P optical caddys (492574-001). If you don't mind a mismatched faceplate and no third USB port then could use a US$13-delivered ebay 9.5mm sata caddy instead. I've test the sata-to-pata equivalent in a 2510P, photos here.
