somewhere here i saw a thread that shows which upgrades have been added to the current DV6's successfully.

im a bit confused why some SSD's would work and some wouldn't, can anyone explain? and maybe help me find one that will be compatible - and under $160 for 120+ GB.

    any help would be appreciated.

edit: Would i benefit from SATA III

    99% should be compatible .
The thread just kind of "confirm" if it works.
    160 for 128GB M4 today
    Jump?

Edit: Well Sata 3 can get pretty numbers and better sequential read/write . So yes, and price point is not a huge difference anyways.
