    I'm planning on buying a DV9295EA (specs on http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/me/e...770865-1770865-1770865-12936550-78146709.html)

Laptops here (Dubai, U.A.E) usually come pre-customized, so I dont have room to order my own from HP.com

I'm extremely happy with the config and the price im paying (US $2,000), but the screen configuration is a WXGA+ Brightview...Im a huge fan of bright, glossy displays, and I would not mind paying 150-200 dollars extra for the "Ultra" brightview display.

Does anyone know if its possible to upgrade the display seperately? Has anyone used a brightview alongside an ultra-brightview and managed to see precisely how drastic the difference is?

Also, there are two similiar models, the 9525 and the 9526, the difference being that the

    dv9296 has:

    Wireless technologies
    IntelĀ® PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/b/g Integrated Wireless LAN

    while the dv9295 has:

    Wireless technologies
    IntelĀ® Pro/Wireless 2200 802.11b/g Integrated Wireless LAN

Any significant advantage in opting for the 3945 over the 2200, other than 802.11a support?

The Ultra BrightView has 2 display lamps as opposed to one, so it's about 2x brighter. It's not something you can really do after so I suggest configuring it with your notebook. Theres no significant advantage from the 2200 to the 3945 wireless cards, the only difference being that the 3495 is ABG and the 2200 is only BG. I have the ABG card and have yet to connect to anything other than B and G.
