I bought an DV6000T with 1 GB (2 512 sticks) of ram, and I would like to upgrade it to 2.0GB DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024MB). Any suggestions on types/places to buy? Thanks.

www.newegg.com has the best prices for RAM sticks.

Kingston, Corsair and Crucial are reputable makers of RAM memory.

    Thanks.

How much do you think I will get if I want to sell the ram already in the computer?

Probably around 50-60 bucks. The problem will be finding someone who wants to upgrade. most people go from 1GB of 2x512 to something better. I'd recommend posting it FS here in the forums, maybe on www.craigslist.com or other sites such as that. Good luck. The other problem is that the RAM in the computer now is likely some no-name generic memory. Not that it makes much of a difference but it will not be as attractive to some buyers.
