    Hello!
I really need help! I'm using hp pavilion dv2700. It worked fine, until today I installed 3dmark06 and run the test. 3dmark gave me note - something to do with my video card, after I pressed ok, screen went black and laptop rebooted. After reboot, it worked for 1 minut, then black screen again and comp crashed. I rebooted in safe mode and deleted 3dmark. Then, downloaded drivers for video card from hp website and installed new video drivers. Computer started working normally, but after about 1 hour, it crached again.
NOW, WHEN I SWITCH IT ON, THERE IS BLACK SCREEN. I KEEP REBOOTING IT - NOTHING HAPPENS - JUST BLACK SCREEN (I CAN SEE THAT SCREEN IS WORKING). NO WINDOWS, NO HP LOGO.
    PLEASE HELP

One question: Does your mute LED stay orange? Cause it might just need a hard reset by taking off battery and ac power and holding on the power button for 5-10sec and replug the ac adapter back in.
