I have an extra LCD monitor that I wanted to hook up to my laptop, a new dv9000t running Vista. The way my desk is set up, I have the monitor to the left of the laptop. I plugged it in, and configured it, and it works great. However every time my computer restarts, it defaults the external monitor to think it is set up on the right side of the screen. Although it only takes a couple of seconds to fix, does anyone know of a solution to this problem? Thanks for your help.
