I just did a restore on my Envy 14.

When using both the slice battery and the main battery, before I thought they discharged at the same rate at the same time.
Now when I have my slice battery installed my computer, the slice is discharging and then the main battery. Not simultaneously.

Am I confused? Or is this the way the computer is alway set up to use each battery?

Yea the slice gets used before the main battery. Atleast that's what I've read about on this site.

First the slice gets discharged and then the internal one. It is very logical IMO as it allows to discharge the external battery first and when it is empty simply disconnect it to only use the internal one. I like this arrangement very much.
