I checked on hpshopping V2000 version including celeron. There're two types of video card configurable. One of them looks like suitable for Celeron proccessors (having 910GML) and the other one for Centrino (having 915 GM Chipset). However the last one has additional ports as usb, firewire , card reader... I'd like to know does anybody know whats the difference between these chipsets and do they affect the battery life running the system?
.. because im more to buy celeron with 915 chipset - giving me the firewire option.

Don't worry about battery life. It will be affected only if you use the ports. You can always disable the additional ports from the Device manager, so that they don't suck up power (that's what I did with my firewire port, modem and cardreader - I just reenable them anytime I need them).
Are you sure you want to go with the Celeron? It's pretty weak.
    Studenichko,a?

Vassil_98 , according to the threads in here , i cant see much difference between turion and celeron. Turion gives about 2-3 hours of battery life compared to Celeron ( which also has 400 FSB and 1MB cache) giving at least 3 hours !!!.. and keeps some extra cash.

I mostly run Photoshop , Autocad and web browsing - these doenst need such fast proccessors , only much RAM. I used to have a Vaio FS640 with 1.6 Centrino and to be honest it gives only 2.5 hours of battery life which is terrible...
Is there any speed difference between the Graphic cards using different chipsets by itsself?

Studenichko nali :) radvam se da te zase4a tuk !

The v2000z with the Sempron CPU is a better budget CPU as it can downclock the CPU to conserve the battery. Celerons can't do it. If it is available over there.

The main reason for the poorer results for the Semprons is that they use a smaller battery. The 6 cell batteries of v2000 and v2000z are not the same.
The 12 cell battery gives some 6 hours if battery life is so important
