I keep hearing 5 hours and 12 cell battery together with the V2000Z, but I think thats the maximum you can get out of the battery. Under a game, hmmm. I'd guess about 3.5 hours.

With the standard battery I get 3 to 4 hours normal use and about a DVD and a half.
With the 12 cell battery I get over 7 hours normal use and about 3 DVD's.
On battery I use 'NHC' with a 'Battery Optimised Setting'

The 12 cell battery has 120% more capacity than the 6 cell in the V2000z (8.8Ahr vs. 4.0Ahr), if that helps. Oddly enough the Intel notebooks didn't get crippled 6 cell batteries (they have 4.4Ahr, like they're supposed to). You definitely want the 12 cell.
When you're running the CPU under sustained load, undervolting makes a BIG difference. I'd look up that thread.
