Do you know when the fan turns on with F.23?
-
As per the notes, not much done, other than standby bug fix.
But, did any one try this one sofar? -
Fan comes on at 59C
and shuts off at 50C -
so, not much change in that area.
Did you check the memory timings? Is it T1 or T2? ( you can check using A64 Tweaker) I hope they would make 1T timing standard for Memory.
Thanks -

How come it is showing the F.22 as the latest BIOS on the v2000z page? Is the f.23 safe with the v2000z? What benefits will one get from upgrading? Thanks!

I upgraded to F.23. It was available a few days ago.
I must say that the only difference from F.11, which I noticed, is the lower speed of the fan and the higher temp at which it starts. I will check the memory timing but I think HP won't change that; few people really know about it. -
you can still find the F.23 bios by looking driver for the model v2410(US or CA). It is the same as the one available for v2000z.
Not only BIOS for certain model are randomly missing, this is also missing.
