This is my first laptop, so I'm not sure if laptop speakers are usually crappy or not. Ok, so when I play a few of my songs on half volume, I can hear a lot of distortion. I'm not sure if the speakers are blown, or if they just suck a lot. Anybody else experience this? Some of the songs that I notice it on are:

At The Drive-In - One Armed Scissor
Glassjaw - Two Tabs of Mescaline
    Shivaree - Arlington Girl

Try turning down the volume on Windows Media Player or whatever program you're using and turning up the speaker volume on your notebook. That works for me.

Yeah, that worked for WMP. But I prefer Foobar, and it doesn't have a volume adjuster. I just hope they're not blown. I'll try watching a DVD on it to see if it still makes any noise.
