    ok I plan getting this notebook very soon, so I wish to know the specs. Seems Compusmart sells it as a 1.8 ghz Turion, however Compaq rates it at 1.6 Ghz Turion. Another factor is that the site tells me it has dedicated vram, while another part of the site tells me its shared. Can anyone offer some insight?

    It's a 1.6 and it's shared VRAM.
